Hodor might DJ at a Dallas club named, wait for it, The Door

When life closes one door, it opens another. And hopefully, that door will be a quick drive up Interstate 35.

“Game of Thrones” fans avoiding spoilers, read no further. Kristian Nairn — the actor who played the late Hodor on the HBO drama — is also a DJ. According to Guide Live, Nairn might be playing a set at a Dallas club named The Door.

This sounds like a spoof, and well, that’s all it is right now. Remember those fake concert announcements sweeping Facebook? One Dallasite put Hodor and the Deep Ellum venue together for a faux event. But as Guide Live reports, fiction might become fact:

“Though it has yet to be confirmed, Russell Hobbs, owner of The Door, said ‘quite possible’ Kristian Nairn, who plays Hodor on Game of Thrones, will be DJing in Dallas this summer.”

If you’re caught up on your “Thrones,” you know that Hodor met his end staving off a horde of stampeding White Walkers. In a twist of time travel and psychic shenanigans, viewers found out the gentle giant’s name, also the only word he was capable of uttering, was just a contraction for cries of “Hold the door!”

When not carting Bran Stark around Westeros, Nairn sometimes plays “Rave of Thrones” sets using music from the show.
